Maintenance Haemodialysis

Maintenance Haemodialysis under the supervision of Dr. Jyotsna Zope (DNB Nephro).

What is haemodialysis?

Haemodialysis is a treatment that uses a dialysis machine and a special filter to help remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys are not able to do so adequately.

Haemodialysis information is provided for general patient education; individual treatment plans are determined by the treating clinical team.

What patients can expect

  1. Arrive at the selected dialysis centre at the scheduled time.
  2. The care team performs the necessary pre-treatment checks.
  3. The dialysis treatment is carried out according to the prescribed plan.
  4. Post-treatment checks and follow-up instructions are provided as appropriate.
